Vincent Twomey SVD is Emeritus Professor of Moral Theology at St Patrick’s College, Maynooth. He studied under Karl Rahner in the 1970s before he transferred to the University of Regensburg to do his doctoral studies under the supervision of Joseph Ratzinger, later Pope Benedict XVI, and is one of the 44 members of the Ratzinger Schülerkreis.
