Father Daniel Cardó

Father Daniel Cardó was born in Lima, Peru, in 1975. A member of the Sodalitium Christianae Vitae, he was ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 2006 and in 2010 was appointed to Holy Name Parish, Denver, CO. He received his Doctorate from Maryvale Institute in 2015, specializing in liturgy and early Christian literature. He is the author of Faith in the Thought of Joseph Ratzinger (University of Navarre), The Cross and the Eucharist in Early Christianity (forthcoming – Cambridge University Press), and of several articles. He teaches liturgical courses at St. John Vianney Seminary, Denver, and is visiting professor at the Augustine Institute. He is a board member of the Society for Catholic Liturgy and co-founder of Source and Summit Institute for Liturgical Renewal and Sacred Music.
