After St. Agnes Church in Manhattan burned down, its congregation found itself hearing Mass in the parish’s old school gymnasium. Architects Dino Marcantonio and Riccardo Vicenzino designed this proposed renovation, which would accommodate the congregation until the church was rebuilt, at which time it would become a permanent chapel attached to the church. Unfortunately, the property was sold to help finance the rebuilding of the church, so the design was never realized. Images of the designs for this chapel and other projects can be seen at www.marcantonioarchitects.com.
