Prior Peter Funk, OSB, is the Prior of the Monastery of the Holy Cross, a contemplative Benedictine monastery in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Prior Peter entered monastic life after earning a degree in music from the University of Chicago and later completed a Master’s in Scripture from Saint John’s School of Theology, Collegeville, MN. He has composed several settings of the Mass and numerous choral works for celebration of the Divine Office.
