A Spanish translation of the Third Edition of the Roman Missal (Missale Romanum)—Misal Romano, Tercera Edicion was confirmed for use in the United States by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments on July 1, 2016. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Secretariat of Divine Worship has announced that this edition of Misal Romano can be used beginning at Pentecost Sunday, May 20, 2018, and will be the required Spanish edition in this country as of the First Sunday of Advent, December 2, 2018.
