Collect for the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul
O God,
who give us the noble and holy joy of this day as we solemnly commemorate the Apostles Peter and Paul,
grant that your Church
may in all things follow the teaching of those
through whom she received the beginnings of her religion.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God,
for ever and ever.
Deus,
qui huius diei venerandam sanctamque laetitiam in
apostolorum Petri et Pauli sollemnitate tribuisti,
da Ecclesiae tuae eorum
in omnibus sequi praeceptum,
per quos religionis sumpsit exordium.
Per Dominum nostrum, Iesum Christum, filium tuum,
qui tecum vivit et regnat
in unitate Spiritus Sancti, Deus,
per omnia saecula saeculorum.
